Hi there, I’m Nick Roberts, I am an accountant who has been working in public practice for the last 12 years. 

I was an early adopter of Xero in 2007, and have been working with this platform  (as well as other accounting systems since). I would like to use my expertise to help people with their use of Xero and other accounting software solutions.

For this blog post I am going to cover what I consider to be Xero’s defining feature, its ability to connect with a huge number of third party apps. 

This allows Xero to focus upon developing itself as an amazing cashbook, that works as a hub for the rest of your business software. 

There are over 800 apps available in the Xero App Marketplace, which range from Invoicing and Jobs to Payments and everything in between. 

The beauty of this is that you are able to get access to software that has been developed for a specific purpose and that continues to get updates and support.
